Course Recommendations

At Wiser Academy, we understand that having more control over your child’s education also brings greater responsibility. For many parents, that responsibility can feel overwhelming, especially when they are trying to decide what their child should study, where to begin, or how to plan a complete academic path. These course recommendations are designed to give parents a helpful starting point. They suggest what a student may be ready to study based on age, maturity, and level of understanding. Because Wiser Academy does not use a traditional age-based grade system, these recommendations are not rigid requirements. They are simply guides to help families make wise decisions. We also recognize that many families are coming from a traditional grade-level system and may need familiar reference points. For that reason, we include general “grade” recommendations to help parents transition into Wiser Academy’s mastery-based approach. Parents and students are free to adjust these recommendations according to the student’s needs, interests, pace, ability, and academic goals.
