UNDERSTANDING

Latter-day Saint Christianity

The restored gospel of Jesus Christ, as taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is integrated throughout Wiser Academy’s educational experience. These truths shape our values, inspire our instruction, and guide students in both academic achievement and personal growth. We invite and welcome students of all faiths who value a Christ-centered approach to learning and living.

The Savior

At Wiser Academy, we believe that coming to know the Savior and serving Him is the central purpose of both education and life itself. Through study, prayer, obedience, and the quiet workings of the Spirit, students are invited to deepen their testimony of Jesus Christ. We teach that true wisdom begins with faith in Him and as students learn to discern truth, cultivate virtue, and apply knowledge in righteousness, their relationship with the Savior grows stronger and more personal.

The Family

Across society, the family is facing mounting resistance—efforts to redefine it, undermine its role, and, in many places, dismantle it entirely. But as Latter-day Saints, we affirm that the family is central to God’s plan of happiness. It was instituted by Him as the foundational unit of society and the setting where eternal truths are taught, lived, and passed on. At Wiser Academy, we honor and support the divine role of families by creating an educational model that strengthens the home, reinforces gospel living, and partners with parents in the sacred work of raising disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel

We at Wiser Academy teach that the gospel of Jesus Christ is not just another subject to be studied. It is the sacred art of becoming like the Savior. When the gospel is placed at the heart of a young person’s life, it shapes their identity, choices, and purpose. We aim to prepare future missionaries, leaders, and shepherds. Our goal is to raise disciples who are spiritually grounded, doctrinally confident, and ready to teach, testify, and serve wherever the Lord calls.

Faith and Community

True faith is not only belief but also action. Students are encouraged to demonstrate their faith by serving their fellow man with kindness, reflecting the love and values taught in the restored gospel. In choosing to serve, they learn what it means to be instruments in the hands of the Lord.
